It's that time of year again. We harvested our first Tomato! We've been eyeing it for a couple of days waiting for it to ripen just enough. Here is our prize before we picked him!


Little did he suspect what was in store for him. Next we placed him on the sacrificial cloth, taking a picture for the record.



Well wouldn't you know it, just when I went to get the knife, the tomato runs for Shella from Mermadia. You can see the size of that rascal. The Home Depot variety name says it is a cherry tomato. I think either I mixed up some stakes or the store is selling some rather large cherry tomato plants.



This Tomato was destined for Annaliese's lunch. Her favorite treat by far with salt is the Tomato. Here it is, ready to be packed in Gladware....mmm mmmm mmm doesn't it look just too good.



Well wouldn't you know it, someone ate one of the pieces! Oh heck, if you put them back together, she won't know... Burp! Excuse me.



Anyone got some bacon and lettuce?!
